To celebrate how fortunate we are this year (even though money is tight and I am working 2 jobs, my children realize how fortunate they are) we decided to sponsor a child. He is 13 years old - the same age as my middle son Mason. His name is John N.
As I told my children, we are just 4 people, but to John N. we just became 4 of the more important people in his world. We have the power to change his life and to give him the opportunity to experience what we take for granted - food, shelter and education.
It doesn't take much to change the life of another. All it takes is realizing that you have the ability to make a difference. How you choose to make the difference is up to you. Matanya's Hope can use help in a great number of ways: sharing your graphic design skills; holding a fund-raising event at your place of employment, church or child's school. You could be the person who changes someone's life - how you do it is up to you as long as you do something
